This so called "gray screen" is simply the Computer's way of telling you that it either cannot support morrowind graphics or something is wrong with your resolution settings. It all depends on what Graphics Card you are currently using. I have a NIVIDIA GeForce FX 5800 with 128 MBs and 32-bit color support (which is the nececary screen resolution for Morrowind) If you cannot play the game AND/OR run TES:CS then it is your graphics card or screen resolution. Switch Posted July 16, 2004 Share Posted July 16, 2004 Press Shift+C. I found that this fixes the problem a while back. I occasionally press it accidentally, and it removes all objects except landscape, so interior cells will be completely blank. Just press it again and problem solved!
