Reaga19
So I first got the PC version a few months ago, had been an avid console player. I experimented with a bunch of mods using both NMM and MO2, but I kind of want to start over and find a more definitive feel instead of just whatever I find. Get a clean slate going, but I can't find where the mods actually exist in my drive. Also, my C Drive is only 250Gb while my D Drive is 1TB, I'd like to get things set up to use that as a source instead. Any advice on achieving one or both? I tried asking the same question(s) on Reddit but got no response. And I'm hoping this is the correct location for this post. IsharaMeradin
I do not remember how NMM handled the files. Nor do I remember how Vortex handles the files. MO2 there are two possible locations depending upon how you installed the program. One would be in the AppData folder and the other would be inside the MO2 program folder. However, you can get to the location specific to your setup from within MO2 itself. There is a folder icon to the right of the Profile bar. This folder icon has a drop down menu of all the locations that MO2 touches. The Mods folder is where the installed mods would be located. The Downloads folder would be where the mod archives downloaded into MO2 would be located.
Reaga19
So I managed to move everything from Steam itself over to my D drive, Steam recognizes it, MO2 is updated to use the exes there for SKSE/Skyrim/SkyrimLauncher, but whenever I try and open SKSE it stops after "compiling shaders". MO2 unlocks again, I get no error or anything. Skyrim just kind of quits.
IsharaMeradin
Make sure the version of SKSE matches the version of the game that you are using. Also make sure that any mods you use are for the correct version of the game as well.
