Issue after changing creture texture

HI all,

Sorry if this has been asked in the past, I tried to find something in the forum but I could not.

 

My goal is to add a special guar creature made by modifying existing textures.

 

-Now I took the guar.nif from the mesh folder

-I created a new creature by changing the name guar in the construction kit

 

-I retextured the original textures and saved them as dds (dx1) (note the original texture was a .tga, I simply opened the TGA, modified in GIMP and saved as dds, I did not change anything else in size of the pic)

 

-I opened the guar.nif in Nifskope and replaced each node texture with the modified one

 

-Now when I place the Guar in my mod using the Construction kit, I see it with the modified Texture but the Animation box is greyed out.

 

-During game I receive the error : "This actor has no Animation class!" and the game return to desktop

 

I really need your help enlighten ones, I must do something dumb I do not see.

I tried unfortunately no luck, I still get the animation tab greyed out, if you could help me would be great. Hereby a screenshot where I show that I followed your notes: on the left the construction kit on the right the Meshes folder. Thanks for the help so far.
