Slaiv
Now that would be interesting.
Kat
Yes indeed....but nobody wants to make such a damn complex thing, plus the engine would probably not support it...
NCBeachBum
I don't know a thing about making mods, but I understand the concepts enough to know this: To make a mod that did that would require so many global scripts, you would need a Cray supercomputer to run it. Guest
You wouldn't need a Cray super computer, just a decent rig. Anyway about the Emporer, alot of people speculate that in the next game he will die and since Jagar Tharn did away with any heirs the Septim dynasty will come to an end. There is also speculation though that the next game wil take place in the summer set isles and involve Daedra as there is a gate to oblivion there. >Argonian thief<
How can it be that hard to run on your computer? if you can run a regular Sim City game how is this that much differnet?
NCBeachBum
Well, in my mind, it would take a absolutely huge number of global scripts to turn Morrowind into SimCity (if it's even possible), constantly checking all possible variants of any decisions you could have made and adjusting the game world as a result. And the more global scripts that are running in the engine, the more taxing it is on the system. I seriously doubt that it could be made to work at all, but if it did, I would imagine you would be talking about hundreds of new scripts being run all the time. Slaiv
Remember that SimCity is run with sprites and/or hand drawn art, which uses less memory than polygonal figures. Of course, it would not necessarily have to be from a strategy perspective, just a decision....
Untouchable1
you guys are like a bunch of kiddies at christmas! dont worry about TES4 yet geez. and certainly enough dont count on a morrowind realt time world sim game either (unless anyone in the Forums has the cash, skillaz, and time to make one, then i'd be most appreciative). anyway im sure you could just search the web for art of the emperor, but imconfused. if the Emperor lives in Cyrodil that would make him an Imperial right? but hes recieving telepaths from a Tribunal (ok well daedric) god and is very interested in the Nerevarine prophecies so he must be Dunmer, or Chimer. by the way what do the chimer look like anyway? oh god i swore i wouldnt get tangled with this thread but any question about the emperor would spark my interest!
