Roon51 Posted December 30, 2012 Share Posted December 30, 2012 So to start off I'm rather new to modding skyrim but over the past days i have learned quite a bit. Just to get some examples out, I can run skyrim with no mods on ultra with the exception of shadows. (I put them on low it's a habit) On ultra i get a very smooth game with from what i remember no ctds, so i think this pretty much takes my computer out of the problem. Now with mods. I have never used any texture mods or anything that would require more performance. This is the mods i currently use or would like to. Apachii sky hair, Calientes body mod, Better females by bella, Remodeled armor for CBBEv3 body slide and BBP, Joseph anthonys lip gloss for better females. (Bellas mod) I've read that calientes body mod can cause ctds if you don't have a BBP skeleton. But from what I've read most people don't need it. Like i said moments ago i am new to modding and i don't know how to figure out what mods don't work with eachother from what one of my friends said some just aren't compatible. I reinstalled skyrim to try and fix this once and it worked mostly, I think i messed up by not installing the mods one by one and checking after each one is installed. I had three mods that worked before installed the rest and the ctds game back and these were. Remodeled armor for CBBE Calientes body mod and Better females. If there are any common fixes or instructions any of you have or if you just know what mods aren't compatible please tell me.
