  1. It's fine lol. The more advice the merrier~ :smile: My specs are: Win7 64-bit Intel i7 3.5GHz 16GB RAM Radean HD7970 3GB (dxdiag sometimes says it's 4gb but it ain't :o ) I don't seem to be running out of my initial memory block as the log doesn't go anywhere near to running out - just the standard 512MB deafault and 256MB scrap. I do run SkyrimHD LITE, but I don't imagine that's too much of a hog, and my FPS is pretty okay, and also only use the high setting. ;p And no ENB, hence RCRN. However, I don't think I'd want to get rid of my grass though ^^; would make the world a bit empty :s and I want to keep that varied vanilla feel. And I'm trying to cut down as much as possible on script and content mods that aren't 'essential' - I would like to keep CWO as it is restorative, but if it's just too much I'll snip it. ;p No physics mods (AFAIK?) - just Better Males, CBBE, FNIS and some animation replacers.

Hello, I'm having a problem where I can't see myself in the race menu (latest version) when using the console 'showracemenu' despite being able to in a previous version (the mod, though maybe the game too, if only slight). I am using CBBE and it's fine when I create my character initially and until she's cut free in the intro, but won't show afterwards. :/ I can see my hands (and body with enhanced camera) just fine too. Any help would be appreciated. :smile:

Hello :smile: Back after a long and busy hiatus, and I've filing down my mod list to try and get a functioning, stable game, and I think I'm almost there, but just out of reach! >:x The skyrim.ini is default and prefs only has the added line for SFO grasses. All mods would be active (I think the ones I have enabled now are stable, but still testing) with 'CalienteVanillaArmorTweaks.esp', 'Skysan_AMB_CAPatch.esp', 'PerMa-Content Addon Patch.esp' & 'Weapons & 'Armor_TrueWeaponsLvlLists.esp' in the bashed patch. Load order - Edit: fixed :smile: All mods (plus SKSE, LOOT, Wrye Bash, TES5edit and FNIS) are upto date and I'm testing them out in out handfuls to find the culprit(s), but if anyone may be able to help, I would very much appreciate it. ^^ If there are any more cuts I have to make that I can live without, then so be it - as long as I can actually play the game. lol

So, removed a handful of mods (including the enb and enboost), installed RCRN AE, it crashed loading a new game, verified the files with steam, got 6 back (only ever got '1' before), started the game through steam to reconfigure things (infinite loading screen). Started it through skse, and seemed to be going well until the title came up for the intro and kind of smeared across the screen, as well as the mod initiation info - screen stayed on the black background for a bit with the text and then crashed.... so either I did something wrong or RCRN is buggering up quite gloriously. xD Edit: Just going to uninstall all of my mods and reinstall the game, leave it for a bit (got tons of others to play, but keep trying to fix this blasted thing, lol), hoping to get some updates/merges, and then I'll come back. :)

Thank you for the suggestions - completely skipped over Tribunal masks being in IA. ^_^; I think I shall remove Wet & Cold completely - I'll miss the cold breathe of my horse, but I can do without it. SkyTEST is only the lite version - no new spawns, just the AI of the existing creatures. I am using the Vividian Extended weathers system, and it's respected ENB, which actually increases opening load times by quite a bit because of the weather incorporation - I'm guessing that the likes of RCRN can be a good alternative, perhaps even to CoT, too (plus it means I can revert a lot of the ini tweaks for the enb). I could probably get rid of iqNPCs and OBIS as well. However, as for the quest related mods, I am loathe to remove them unless it becomes absolutely necessary. Hoping I can keep the rest unless new, better alternatives are released in the future. Looking out for Awake. :) Also, I had already deleted all of my later saves prior to this, so there's nothing to clean. xD I'm so used to starting over that it was kind of second nature to me - at least I didn't lose to much. lol
  6. Hello again. I am trying to lighten the load, mainly script-heavy mods, from my load order. I have already lost diseased, deadly spell impacts, burn freeze shock effects, fire and ice overhaul, and hunterborn. I know that ones such as SkyBirds, Birds of Skyrim, Frostfall, Wet & Cold + add-ons all use scripts, but I am not sure about any others. My recent playthrough started off fine, but the script calling got slower as it went along, and I started to CTD outdoors. I am willing to part with wet & cold- holidays (although maybe the whole package), and just maybe, frostfall. I don't particularly want to get rid of either bird populator, but I will if it comes to it. The memory blocks log did not reach it's threshold, so it is not a memory issue. Any help would be appreciated. :smile: I will be starting a new game, or using my control saves in Riverwood with the new setup, so no need to clean my saves. Load order:
  7. Welp, it's either, NPCs Protected, Arrisa or Loraine because removing them fixed it. :S I'll assume it's the former, but I'll just leave them alone for now.
  8. Hello, I finally have time to play Skyrim now that school is over, and I had it set up to play a while back with all my mods. I have installed a few new ones recently and updated a couple, but this seems to have broken it - it doesn't crash, it just takes about 30sec to bring up the Bethesda logo, instead of just a few, and then the imperial sigil shows, but no menu, however, all of the ENB info passes just fine. - New & updated mods - Follower Commentary Overhaul AOS 2 (replaced ver1 and all patches included with the new one) Arrisa Loraine Deadly Spell Impacts + AOS Patch NPCs Protected Redux + iNPCs and iqNPCs patch Vividian - Diverse Weathers + ENB + AOS patch all updated Most of the files are unrecognised by BOSS, so I placed them as best I can. - Load Order - Think I should try out LOOT?
  9. I am using SKSE 1.70 (memory patch built in) with Memory Blocks Log, ENBoost and StableuGridstoload (uGrids=11). SSME has had some negative feedback apparently (something about how it injects the code), and should do the same thing as the newest SKSE anyway.   10. Okay..... I seem to have found what the problem was - human error. ^^; The Lost Paladins of the Divines Wrath Armor Reproccer patch by xathra is a replacer, not an add-on to it, despite all other replacers overwriting the original esps, and the instuctions were hidden in the readme. I don't usually read them since 99% of mods I have seen have the instructions on the description page. >.> That was causing the problem somehow, so thankfully I didn't have to remove anything. :)
  11. I've had this happen even with just the unofficial patches on from the start. General Tulius spawned back with the last guard so the gates didn't open. Took a few tries to work. xD
  12. Well, it is certainly mod related, and I have narrowed it done to a large handful, so I 'm just going to add them back slowly and see who's the culprit. :tongue: And the shadow problem seems to come paired with the map issue somehow. :x
  13. I have ELFX too, and Climates of Tamriel, its Weather patch and the Vividian add-on and ENB. I'll need to play more to see it actually effects it noticeably. I have my shadow bias set to 0.6 at the moment.
  14. Looks like that might be working now xD. I deleted the game's esms and re-verified them via Steam, since somebody with the same or similar problem did that and it corrected itself. I am still doing the mod buildup though, so I have control saves, and it might still be mod-related. :P
