thomriis
First of all i like to say thanks bethesda for yet another bug for my money. I read a lot of suggestions on the net about the hostile moth priest and how to neutralize him after he is rescued from forebears holdout (im a Wampire) . Somehow i managed to make him friendly by typing kill via the console command, And after that my two companions Vilja and Sylvia accepted him and stopped attacking. well everything seemed allright until i arrived at castle Volkihar. when i enter the castle all wampires are hostile towards him,But Dexion is friendly towards them no matter how many times he gets knocked down. I know you can complete the quest by talking to him when he gets up but its annoying and no fun at all :wallbash: would it break the questline if i disabled him and when can i do it without breaking it,I also still have two save games from before i deactivated the barrier. Hope anyone can help with this problem And thank you Bethesda for yet another bug worth my money.
jack013
one of your mods is obviously screwing things up.
thomriis
one of your mods is obviously screwing things up. Do you need Dexion throughout the whole questline, Disabling him would solve my problen; But when can i do that ????

Georgiegril
I have had the Dexion bug 3 times now. It is a known bug, (Wikilink) so probably not the fault of the mods you have. I have found that the kill/resurrect thing only works so far. Sometimes I can get the quest dialogue out of him this way; if not I have to use setstage to advance the quest. That seems to have stopped the aggression this playthrough. Last time, though, I just put up with the fighting every time I went into the castle. It stopped on it's own, not exactly sure when, but before I needed him again for the quest. Very annoying bug! I hope they manage to address it in the next patch. The wiki link also has a few strategies I haven't tried. I did try going in without a follower to rescue him--didn't make a bit of difference. Kanarus
They won't. As Much as I love Bethesda they have a nasty habit of fixing the bug that are of no real consequence or are trivial while ignoring the more serious ones. Example the Cornered Rat quest still hasn't been fixed officially by Bathesda after 11 Updates the modders had to fix it.
