Raccoonmancer
Basically what the title says. For example, if the player initiates combat with a wolf, the Follower would have a line of dialogue for it; Ex.: "Doggy's come to play." (preferably voiced) however, the intent of this post is to get to know how to make such an interaction possible in the first place, if anyone knows how to or has references that could help. dylbill
I'm not too familiar with dialogue, but I remember Inigo will comment on types of enemies sometimes. You could look and see how they did it. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1461
cumbrianlad
I'm wondering if you can use conditions on the dialogue that the follower says. E.g. the condition 'GetIsRacee', 'WolfRace' = 1.0 and run the condition on 'Combat Target'. The follower then says "Oh great... I hate wolves!" or whatever. If it works just use the race selection for whatever race you like, Falmer, Chaurus etc.
Raccoonmancer
Thank you for the replies. I'll be trying out the GetIsRace today. Hopefully, I'll come back with good news.
cumbrianlad
It would be a good idea to add another condition or two to this sort of line to stop the follower saying it every time they see a wolf, chaurus or the like. With my house steward/merchant, she has several random lines for things like being hit by a weapon or magic. In addition to that I added a random percent condition to some of them, and/or you could specify the time in hours before the line can be said again. It makes the NPCs a lot more interesting.
