itsivaan
Basically, i've been trying to download mods for skyrim, and all the small mods, like at least up to and around 100mb download just fine with normal download speeds. However, when i try to download larger files, such as Skylands texture overhaul and SMIMM, which are both at least or above 1 gigabyte, the download speeds go very slow. I even bought a month of premium and ensured that the premium was enabled and working fine. The smaller mods still work fine and look like there is no throttling whatsoever, but when i try to download the larger mods, my connection gets throttled hard and rarely goes above 600kb/s, and if it does, its only for a few seconds. i have even seen the download speed start off at 1 MB/s for like 2 seconds, before dropping down. eventually the download always fails and drops to 0 b/s and trying to continue the download in the vortex application will allow it to continue slowly (with many fails) and once it finally finishes downloading, the file ends up being broken and can not be unzipped or opened or anything. Basically a useless file. Happens with both mod manager download and manual download. I have tried every premium server and even the normal cdn server. I've restarted my pc, reinstalled Vortex and all but nothing. My download speed is normal anywhere else. nsw
Same here. Downloads with more than 500Mb more or less are capped at 5MB/s, the rest reach up to 100MB/s (those 1G file tests go slow as hell). Country: Brazil. Done all tests, average speed is around 400~500kb/s (around 5MB/s). Tried to logout and login again, no luck. Pickysaurus
Thanks for the report itsivaan, I've passed this to our web team to look into. Looking at the trace log it may be a problem with your ISP though.
