Allnamesinuse Posted January 1, 2013 Share Posted January 1, 2013 I am so bored of the overused zombies in games, Fallout has them as well in form of feral ghouls and I would love to play the game without them in it. SKYZOO Posted January 6, 2013 Share Posted January 6, 2013 So I made a basic mod that simply removes all type of ghouls and the nightkin by deleting them from the fallout.bsa file. I'm stumped as to a good way other than individually removing them from each location, which would be a seemingly vast amount of work. @jim_uk any other ways you know of?----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------What I did was delete all activators, triggers, dialogue, factions, quests and everything inbetween i could find and think of so the game wouldn't aattempt to call on them. If I missed something I'm sure the game will crash and i'll have to find a work around then. I've tested it to a point and suprisingly had no problems yet ( I expected many, as there probably will be). If there is another way that does'nt take a crazy amount of time I'd be willing to hear it and give it a shot. IF they use the character skeleton. I honestly can't remember and I'm too lazy to pull them apart to check. The problem with that approach is that it's likely to break their animations. I personally have no clue when it comes to modding this engine.I believe they have to be replaced with something, maybe just raiders. Some quests would have to be removed. Like anything black mountain related, since both super mutants and nightkin would just be a mountain full of hostile raiders. Forgot about the super mutants, sorry.
