Deleted51167696User
Please forgive me if this is not the correct place to ask this as I wasn't able to find any other location. I want to delete all of the mods I've downloaded for Skyrim and start over again. The main reason is I haven't played Skyrim in a few years and I want to start off with a fresh set of mods. How can I delete my downloaded mods and start with a clean slate. Thanks
IsharaMeradin
Did you use a mod manager to download the files? If so, check inside that utility to find out where the downloaded archives are located. If not, then they are probably wherever you normally put downloaded files. If you no longer have the mod manager, the downloaded files may still be present. Do a general search for *.7z, *.rar and *.zip in Windows Explorer. The location that has mod archives is probably the correct one. Just double check that they are files for Skyrim and not any other game you may have modded. If you have not uninstalled the mods and do not wish to completely uninstall / reinstall Skyrim, STEP has a good walkthrough on reverting to an unmodded state: https://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Make_Skyrim_Vanilla_Again Now may also be a good time to try out the different mod managers as they have gone through several changes over the past few years.
