SSE Daedric Mage Armor Port from normal Skyrim

Is there any way to port the mod from normal skyrim to Skyrim SE the mod author is Natterforme? and if so would there be any chance to have have it use vanilla textures and with the red parts turned to dark gray or black?

Yes there is a way. First you must contact the mod author for permission and then the author will show you the way.

ya that i understand but the thing is i have contacted him but nothing and i actually do not know how to port or make/edit stuff. i just donate money for mod author's hard work.

You nor anyone else can port the mod without the mod authors expressed permission.

 

To port the mod would be considered piracy and would subject the person doing the port to being banned.

What usually happens with Ports of Oldrim to Skyrim SE is an honest log and attempt to contact the original author to get permission.

 

Then when no contact is made - someone will port given mod with something along the following lines:

 

 

I had made several efforts to contact the Original Mod Author for permission.

They are not active at this given time. So here is the port with full credit going to Original Mod Author.

If at any time the Original Mod Author wants this removed, I will do so ASAP.

I understand that. but i was not going to do so anyway shape or form port without his permission. i dont know how to do so in the first place. i wish i did have knowledge on to do things like that cause theres alot of mods i would love to port but dont know how to.
