R6R6R
So here's the 'problem'SKSE. I've recently updated Skyrim to version 1.8.x and SKSE along to 1.06.05 (the compatible one). For some reason, every time I hit a city guard, or encountered dragons, the game autosaves. And it's not an ordinary autosave, it's a 'hard' save, the one that is created after you save manually (not via quicksave). But when I checked the Skyrim saves folder, the format is .SKSE. I know along with .ESS files .SKSE files are created, but this one's a hard save. No ESS files were created, so SKSE saved a save, without a save. Now I know that sounds weird, but it creates a numbered save (like manual saves), and it's quite a burden, since a lot of saves are horrible for the game performance, but it happens. I don't know if this is a feature from the latest SKSE, I also checked my mod list and no, there are no mods that utilizes SKSE to make 'hard' autosaves. I searched through the web and it seems no-one counted this as a problem. For the TL;DR people, basically SKSE autosaves a 'hard' save in .SKSE format every time I either, hit (as in 'attack') guards or encountered dragons. And it's a burden because it affects game performance. I need a solution, anything, to get rid of this 'problem'. I've already turned off every autosave feature in the game. HeyYou
Please post your load list. SKSE won't do anything unless it is told to.... I would suspect you have some other mod doing that.....
