DarkSpyda04
I'm having trouble setting custom values for an NPC. While I can increase values for the player, when I modify say the NPC "Bree"'s level to lv20, luck to 80, and HP to 350 with either TES Edit or setav then load a new area or resurrect, the HP is reset based upon the NPC's level while the level, combat skills, and attributes remain the same. Is there any way to permanently raise an NPC's HP other than clothing/armor enchantments or setting an extremely high level? It kind of ruins some ideas one might have. Hickory
Many stat settings are stored in the save game file, and so get wiped out if/when an NPC dies and is resurrected. The only sure way is to edit their base stats in the CS and start a new game.

No. Each unique NPC has their own stats set in the CS, and these are tied to the ID of that NPC, so when you resurrect them, those stats are applied, not the ones you modified in-game.
