ChrissyB40
i have recently bought Dark Souls and have come across some issues, i am running Windows 8 Pro 64bit and there seems to be some compatibility issues but i think I've got past them, anyway to the point i was trying to install DSfix i'm more than certain i put the files in the right place so i then started to put mods in, all mods worked but then the game would crash after the intro to he game, so i was looking up solutions and nothing i have been looking for solutions for hours but then more problems a rised, if i install a mod it installs fine using nexus mod manager but the mods don't work they don't appear to be there and neither does DSfix so i can play the game but i'm stuck with no mods and a awful resolution that fills like quarter of the space. so i am asking someone to please help me i'm such a noob with this stuff and all i simply want to do is play Dark Souls :(. Deleted15912109User
bit late, but my I had this issue where the game wouldn't boot because of some critical error. If you replace your DSFix files in the game folder with the most recent version available this may help. This got my game working again.NB: Don't update through the nexus mods manager but just google download it
