theHeftyFine
Akatosh may not be a dragon, as he is, in fact, a god. But in the answer to Walmarteater's question (on... december 11, but ahh well): The statue in Ebonheart, if not every depiction of dragons in every Imperial settlement in Vvardenfel, is a depiction of the god Akatosh, chief god of the nine divines. It's just the Tamriel counterpart of hanging a crusified Jesus statue above ones bed. I don't say that there are no dragons in Tamriel, but reading the description Wasder gave about their disapearance, it seems very likely that Bethesda just wrote them out, in favor of the concept of just one dragon: Akatosh, dragon of time. And, storywise, I hope you can all agree with me. Dragons, as the awesome, mysterious creatures they are, would get pretty boring if they were as common as a guar.
