finnvara Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 I'm looking for something small and inconsequential, but I can't seem to find it. I'd like a mod that would change the color of the regular bound weapons in the game. Specifically, I'd love to summon a red flamey sword instead of a blue flamey sword. I don't want to change the weapons in any substantial way, just their shades and hues. I found a few other requests about this, but no replies and no mods. There are plenty that add new bound weapons, but none that change the color of the existing ones. I'm not a programmer and I don't know a thing about modding, but this seems like it should be pretty easy, especially compared to the crazy and elaborate mods that are out there. So will some sweet modder take a half hour or so to turn my blue bound blade red?

" You asked it so nicely that I'll take a look. :ohdear: As I think I know how to do it, so it shouldn't be too hard. Weird. It is actually hard. senterpat Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 I saw a mod that did exactly what you want. I can't seem to find it easily though. If its a big deal I'd suggest doing an advanced search for "bound sword" or maybe just "bound" in case they say bound weapons or something. The mod was made recently I think, so it might be best to not sort by endorsements.

nilay913 Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 All I know is that the actual sword and the flames are all part of the 'bound sword fx' effect since I tried having a weapon with this effect to make a green bound sword for green lantern like character but all i ended up with was a green elven sword but it had half a daedric sword stickin out of it with blue flames.
