Ilotan Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 First of all, I bought the Ultimate Edition from Steam (I'm pretty sure that matters) V1.05 So I've been trying to install override mods for at least a day with no success. I extract the mod (in this case, it's the "Morozik75 Arsenal" mod, although I also tried 'Vow of Pride' armor.) I extract the file, get the necessary folder and place it into C:\Users\Josh\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override No matter what I do, it just doesn't work and I couldn't be ANY more sure that I'm doing it correctly. I read somewhere the folder needs to be extracted with 7zip instead of WinRar, so I tried that and installed - still no luck. THEN I decided to try DAOModManager. I chose 'create a new override package', placed the files inside of it, and created the package. Then I install the package and get a 'override is compatible' message, alas, it still doesn't work. I've also tried running the game with administrator privileges, still nothing. Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to edit a config file somewhere to allow mods? Help me before I go insane! :wallbash:
thedanielk5991 Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 I'm having the same problem...Anybody have an answer?
Thandal Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 The "Morozik75 Arsenal" is a DA2 mod. INSTALLATION Download and unpack. Put “Morozik75 Arsenal Final” to Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age 2\packages\core\overrideThe path you listed above, and this forum, are for DAO. Suspect that could be the problem... :whistling:
