Creating quest, once i record voice and click save it crashes. it told me first that i needed a fonixdata.cdf file, got it put it in, and since it crashes once i click save.

Have you installed the mod 'Creation kit fixes'? It sorts a lot of issues and definitely fixes lip sync that was broken with the CK64 version of the kit. It may help.
