Adipose
In pre-Skyrim versions of the Elder Scrolls, it was possible for the player to be revived from a death blow due to the fact that their companion survived the action and took out the bad guy(s). Further, iIrc, it was possible to give the companion potions that they would then use(I'm a bit hazy on this one). Anyway, why isn't any of this possible in Skyrim? PS: Levitation was nice as well. marianojoey
Yes, the followers would carry and use potions on themselves, or on the player (via dialog option, as far as I remember, not automatically). But lets be honest. You get a sword shoved up your guts, all the way to your chin, and no ammount of healing magic or potions would rise you. And sincerely, I'm happy they made it that way. The game is already easy enough.Levitation stoped existing on Oblivion, since the cities were open and not closed like in Morrowind. Since you could levitate over a wall and enter the city, but the instance wouldn't load, that was a big problem, so, the only way to stop the players from breaking the game was to eliminate the hability. Kalgarrigan
use a previously saved game especially if the housecarl dies.
jack013
that's an odd rationality, that magic can heal but only too a point.
