aryan826 Posted January 7, 2013 Share Posted January 7, 2013 (edited) I am making a chess board and was wandering if anybody could help with a few pieces.at the moment i am using the loading screen art as they already have cool preset poses. but i am short of few pieces. (good side King and Queen and bad side King and queen). anyway i was hoping one of you lovely nexus users could help me out. as i cannot yet animate ( but am planing to learn how in the future) so i cannot put the characters in poses.it would be so help full if some one could animate the characters for me and put them in the pose. OK so i will tell you about the board in case you are wondering. the pieces will be good Vs evil. GOOD SIDEPawns=Dwarven armored guy, Rook=female Imperial guard, Knight= Armored Troll[at the moment that might change], Bishop= female Breton mag, and i want but don't have the k.niff file or King=Dragonborn in iron Armour with steel sward and Dwarven dagger.[like statue in game stop etc..] and Queen=Elisif with some sort of cool dagger with Torygg's war horn in left hand and held near chest,[i also don't have the pose for that. BAD SIDEPawns=Falmer male (crouching)Rook=(possibly) male Draugr Deathloard. Knight= (possibly) female Draugr archer Bishop=(ether) the vampire from Dawnguard loading screen [not Harkon] or a Hagraven.and i want but don't have the k.niff file or King=guy in full Deadric Armour with both hands resting on the hilt of a Deadric two handed sward that points at the floor.and Queen=i don't know but i am think in of a Spriggan as i have the file for that and i think they are freekin awesome. The actual peices will be and have been printed out on a 3D printer. ok i have no idea how to add larger sised picturs or a file so if you would lke to see some of the peices contakt me some how or leave a reply or some thing and i will try to send the images to you or some thing.i have 2 done right now the dwarf and the imperial guard. anny help would make me sooooo happpy and greatfull. thaks for your time. also i am posting here because i have no idea what topic this comes under Edited January 7, 2013 by aryan826 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ShadCroly Posted January 7, 2013 Share Posted January 7, 2013 If the Good-side King is the Dragonborn, why isn't the Evil-side King Alduin? I'm guessing the Good-Rook looks like Lt. Rikke? Knights I'd probably say be Blades instead of armored Trolls. The vampire from the Dawnguard loading screen sounds like a good Evil-Bishop. aryan826 Posted January 8, 2013 Author Share Posted January 8, 2013 I like the idea of blades as knights but what pose should i have them in?Also.i still cant animate so i would not be able to create that peice. And would have to rely on the good will of others. I didn't use alduin as bad guy king because the peices are roughley to scale (the Dwarf/pawn is smaller than the rook etc...) and id i did Alduin if to scale wouldant fit o the board. If not to scale then would look like little baby dragon. I conciser the storm cloakes evil so dont want them on the good side.Opposite for maven.i considder her good. The reasin i didnt use the.dragon prist (allthough i did concider usig this) is that the loading screen priest is floating. So if i print him,firstly it will need a s**t load of support material (whivh i will.probiballyhve to pay for, secondly u would have to find like a clear plastic stand that can be attavhed to a squar base and the modle. Sorry, sorry don't wanna derail your thread.Its just I'm pro-imperial but I certainly think Maven is pure evil and the stormcloaks are simply misguided. But fir me she is the yarl of riften. After the storm cloaks are kiked out. Sooooo the imprrials put her in cintroll. And ime fine with that. Also.i.am still.looking for any one willing to try to animate the kings queens and knight. Pls get back to me if you would like to help.
