spinspider
Any guesses as to why Riften is the only city in Skyrim that has a sewer system? It's not even the capital or the largest... http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/confused.gif

DreamKingMods
Because it's a city of thieves and corruption. There's a good mod called Skyrim sewers that adds sewers to the other cities.
Robinsage
My B3 mod has a sizeable subterranean mushroom garden with some skeever tails and brown colored bowls that serves the needs of Whiterun anyway. It's amazing how well they grow!
InuyashaFE
Come to think of it, Solitude actually does have a Sewer system. I recall walking by drains that audibly make dripping or running water noises. You just can't enter the sewers there as far as I know.
The7Sins
Well I think Whiterun may have sewers and we just can't access them. As you walk into the gate in Whiterun there is the foot bridge that takes you to Adrianne's forge. To both the left and right from it are 2 large gates with water flowing out. The gates are large enough you could walk through but in the game you can not. Also outside of Whiterun on its walls is a couple more gates with water flowing out like this. This IMO is a sign Whiterun has sewers that we just do not have access to for whatever reason.
Rooker75
Solitude and Whiterun both have sewers, but their only use is for escaping from jail. As far as I know, you can't even enter the sewers in Solitude anywhere except from the jail.
