Draugr won't wake up

For some reason the Draugr in all of the tombs that are supposed to pop out of their sarcophagi... well, aren't.

 

I don't think it's a mod causing this, I have a few installed but nothing that touches any of their scripts... I can still get them to work, but I have to use the "tcl" cheat to switch off collision, go partially inside the sarcophagus and whack them with a weapon to get them to wake up. Which is pretty tedious, of course...

 

Anyone else had a problem like this?

even if useless, better post mod list anyway.. you'll never know

 

try a new game and see if the draugh wake up (you can find in the wiki the code of a tomb to use with coc command). if it work maybe is "just" your save to be corrupted

 

try to deactivate mods anyway, just for testing

 

try deleting .ini file in documents\mygames\skyrim

 

in worse case, try a clean install of skyrim (and remember deleting ini file in documents\mygames\skyrim too).. and pay attention on which mods you put in(read description) and on load order too (BOSS)

Take often a backup of your last save, so if things going bad, i haven't to restart at all

If you are running a NPC handling mod for things like : More NPC, Better NPC's , Super Uber NPC's, goto a place where you can release all your NPC's from your control. Then, go some where far away from that location and clear your follower count via the console.

 

set playerfollowercount to 0

 

Make a save without any followers and exit the game. Reload the game with the save you made and go see if the Draugr return to the undead status you expect. Then go collect your entourage of cohorts.
