Gunnerman149
So the short summary is, I see shadows switching from a fine resolution to trying to be higher resolution feet away from me. It feels like there's a bubble of shadow resolution following me. I can also see props like trashcans popping into view as I walk down the street. In some cases, it's even structures that do this, sometimes with turning my head. https://imgur.com/a/zmAVwOXI've posted related images here due to filesize limit. http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?file_id=46271223676223872593 My Fallout 4 ini.http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?file_id=01753884571116849320 My Fallout 4 Prefs ini. Gunnerman149
I found a fix to the shadows.fBlendSplitDirShadow=48This line in the Fallout4Prefs.ini dictates how close the shadows loaded in. I changed it.fBlendSplitDirShadow=400Ingame looks a lot smoother now.
Laptoprocker
Did you find a solution for this? I have the same bloody issue :D Like chimneys, trashcans, cigarette machines popping in out of nowhere... I have the game on a Samsung 860 EVO 1TB SSD, RTX 3070, i7 10700k and 2x8GB 3600mhz RAM so I am fairly sure PC power is not the issue here...
