Werewolves and Dawnguard...

I hope this isn't considered a spoiler, since it's a problem (at least, for me). I'll do my best to not point to anything that could be considered a spoiler.

I started a new game, rushed to do the proper quest to become a furry green beast (I play an Argonian...), let myself reach level 10 to activate Dawnguard (yes, I know I could just go to the fort and the quest starts anyway), went down there, enter the fort and... got smashed to smitherins as soon as I crossed the door. I can understand that those Stendarr fanatics are enemies of anything not... "normal" (was about to say "human", but they don't go attacking Khajeet, Orcs or Argonians, so...), but the fact that this (really high level) priest attacks you just because you enter the room (and no, I wasn't transformed, he has a "detect unnatural" power or just likes metagame....), is a quest breaker. :(

No, really, it's a quest breaker, since you can't go on with the quest. Does anyone know a console command to "cure" myself and "turn" myself back AFTER I started the quest? Because I really don't want to go find the propper ingredients to "cure" myself (since I'm not a Nord, I don't care for Sovngarde, I follow Hyrcine all the way). ;)

English isn't my native language, so I'm sorry if I made any mistakes (please, point at them so I can learn a bit more). And thanks for the help. :)

Odd. I've been a werewolf and gone through the entirety of the Dawnguard quests a couple times and I've never had this issue.

The only method I know if curing Lycanthrope that doesn't involve becoming a Vampire Lord is to -> use a Witch head on yourself in Ysgramor's Tomb (although, admittedly, I've never tried it like that).

Maybe you did something to piss off the Vigilants? Do you have any outstanding crimes?

Nope. I'm pretty clean. I'm playing the "nice guy" role. In fact, the only Stendarr priest I found so far, was a corpse on a mountain (apparently, he fell). :(

And yes, that's the INGAME method to cure lycantropy, but I don't want to do all that just to cure myself, when I really don't want to cure. In fact, in my other gameplays I always turn into a VL and play the side of darkness, and for once, I wanted to be the Hunter. :D

Anyway, thanks for answering. I'll recheck my status with them, by looking for a LIVE priest and see if he attacks me too. :)
