Virheilm
I've noticed some people advising to make mods for the original Skyrim instead of Special Edition, and I was just curious if there's a reason why? I figured Special Edition would be easier to develop on given the improvements made to the engine, but maybe I'm wrong. Is there a significant difference between the two? If you develop a mod for one, is it easy to port over to the other?
DoctorKaizeld
I've noticed some people advising to make mods for the original Skyrim instead of Special Edition, and I was just curious if there's a reason why?Old advice from the early days when SSE didn't have a lot of the popular tools and extensions released. I suggest modding for SE over Oldrim now. Is there a significant difference between the two?Yes, aside from mod conflict issues I have crashed once out of my 117 hours of play time so far and that was do to bad save file. If you develop a mod for one, is it easy to port over to the other?depends on the mod but mostly yes it is easy.
