seanl25
Do you guys have any idea what may caused it? I am running the creation kit with no steam fix, since I didnt get skyrim from steam Why do you think the CK should work with a stolen copy of the game? Using a pirated game with a pirated CK and then uploading mods that were made with the stolen versions will result in the mods not working properly for the honest people who actually paid for their game - plus for any pirate not using the exact same version of the stolen game. The pirates actually have to make changes in the game exe file to get it to work. Those changes mean the exe is no longer 100% compatible with the legal version - so when you screw up your game please don't come here for help as we do not support those non compatible pirated versions because they cause many of the problems we see. :wallbash: Banned for piracy Bben46
Lanceor
Did you activate Skyrim through Steam? If not, that's the problem.

Lanceor
I'll try to be as helpful as I can... Bascially, if your game wasn't activated through Steam, it's a pirated version. Skyrim and the CK were designed to run with Steam and goodness-knows-what the hackers did to make them run without it. So therefore, if you have a pirated copy, it's pretty likely that you'll get all sorts of errors with the game - the CK not working is just one of them. Because of this site's informal relationship with Bethesda, any discussion of piracy or support for pirated games isn't allowed. Since your game is a pirated one, your account will end up banned. Maybe you have your reasons for getting a pirated version of Skyrim, but I'd encourage you to do the right thing and buy a legit copy of game.
