SnakeSlippers
Ok first I want to say I heard about the PC, I know about it, I know what happens when you disable the ini file to break them through the whole game and the FPS slaughter. But do you think there's a way to fix it up a little to get more FPS? Is there stuff to remove that will get those FPS back? Like remove trees, grass, fx, water, anything? I'm doing a winter playthrough so I'm already replacing grass with blank textures (4x4 size)Going to use that texture optimizer mod or whatever its called.Disabled God Rays Does anyone know why a certain area hits the FPS harder then others? Something there has to be draining FPS. Just curious.... Back in the FNV days my old pc can barely run it on high settings. I replaced all landscape textures in the GECK (Deleted all 7-8 layers and put down 1 layer of just desert sand and it boosted my FPS wherever that sand texture was used)

markusm1000
But do you think there's a way to fix it up a little to get more FPS? No. There is nothing to do "a little".You have to recalc the PreComb/PreVis-System with all affected mods you use. How to do this is shown in this thread. Yea that's the thing, I'm looking for ways to fix that FPS up so I don't have to recalc the system I can just leave it broken up and fix it as I go. So I dont have to worry if mods break them anymore cause they will already be broken by me on purpose.
markusm1000
I'm looking for ways to fix that FPS up so I don't have to recalc the systemWith changes in the game mechanics you perhaps win the one or the other fps. The thickest klops in a 3D game are the 3D grafics. If you shut off the optimization system so you loose 20fps, it doesn't matter if you tweak something else to win 1fps. The thickest klops in a 3D game are the 3D grafics. If you shut off the optimization system so you loose 20fps, it doesn't matter if you tweak something else to win 1fps. That makes sense. I found the huge trick for FNV so I was wondering if there was something like it for FO4.
