GrumpyTanky
Gents, I was wondering if anyone had any info or links as to how to add titles or headlines to your mods main page... I have done some art for my updated mod and I just wanted to make the main page all fancy... Is there a way to avoid an upload site? or imageshack? or is there a way to direct from my pc? A nice detailed walk through link would be great as I'm webpage inept... obviously... Cheers all...
TheGreenLion
It all has to do with BBCode, you can specify an image from your mod images you've uploaded by opening one, right-clicking on it and selecting properties. Then just copy the address and paste it as [*center][*url]*your image address goes here*[/url*][/center*]. The center part does just that and will center the image. The url part grabs it from the address that you've pasted. There might be a maximum height and width for it as well so you may need to mess with it a bit to get it fitting right. Oh and just remove the little asterisks to make it work. I think there is a link for general BBcode here on the nexus somewhere...I'd have to look to find it. greentea101
In addition to what's listed on that page, the tag "size" works as well. [ size=n ] text [ /size ] - absolute size, where 'n' is between 1 and some max value [ size=+n ] text [ /size ] - increase size by 'n' units (I think) size 1 size 2 size +
GrumpyTanky
Awesome! Cheers lads... There really doesn't seem to be anyway to attach directly to the mod page... So nevertheless I have sorted it with a hosting site... Neh dramas! Cheers!
TheGreenLion
Just upload your images with the Images section on the right under Edit Attributes and so forth. Once you've done that you can view one image by left clicking on it, then once it blows up to full resolution right-click on it and select Properties, you'll see a url address in there that you can copy and paste into the [ url ] [ /url ] BBcode typed in on your Description page to have it display there. LargeStyle
Out of curiosity then, if you say wanted to have an image run the whole width of the page, what resolution can / should it be? I was assuming 1920 pixels and Nexus and / or the browser would scale it down if required? Edited January 15, 2013 by LargeStyle
GrumpyTanky
I've kinda balanced it out and they resized... Trial and Error... I think the ones I have on the site are 1024? Just checked and the one that filled out the best at the bottom was 1024 wide... The site didn't resize in a noticeable way either...
