DeathJester11
Hi.Yesterday I decided to get back into Skyrim, and started a new character because a lot of my old mods had been patched, and I found some new ones to try out. I have run into some problems though. I seem to have duplicates, or near-identical recipes. For example, I have 2 recipes to make Iron Ingots: One takes 3 ore and the other take 4 ore. I also have 2 recipes for Iron Arrows, using the same amount of resources, but one gives 24 arrows and the other 20. Also, I have found a discrepancy with the damage output of weapons, the ranged weapons seem to be a lot more powerful than melee for the most part. The Iron Longbow I found during the tutorial has 19 damage, but then I found a crossbow that does 44! Also Draugr bows do 41 damage, but I have yet to find any melee weapon that comes close (best I have seen is a Steel 2-hander that was about 21 damage). Here is a list of mods I am running. Can someone please look over these and tell me if there are any incompatibilities, I would be very grateful. http://i.imgur.com/WNbaT.jpg
Deleted1308005User
Are you using BOSS? If that's your load order, it's quite much the wrong way around. I could believe duplicate crafting recipe might be caused by Smithin perk overhaul + SkyRe combo? But I might be wrong. I recommend you check all the mod pages. Some of those mod might be outdated, as you said you haven't played for some time.
DeathJester11
All the mods are up to date, that's why I had to start a new character, the old saves would have taken too much messing about post-patching.I'm not sure about SkyRe causing the duplicate recipes. I had the same problem back when I used to play, but SkyRe is a new mod for me. (CCO/SPR are mods I used to use).Yes the list on the left is my load order. Can I ask what is in the wrong order? No I haven't used BOSS, but I'll give that a shot. Should I get the mods in the correct load order before using BOSS? Deleted1308005User
BOSS orders the mods  Also, I think I saw auto unequip arrows x 2..Due to eyes acting weirdly I can't say for sure. Also, reproccer is supposed to be at the bottom of the order? Other than that, might be right. But I still recommend using BOSS, it shows pretty much all the weird stuff that might be there. Outdated mods, obselete mods and such. DeathJester11
I used BOSS, and it said this for CCO: "Warning: Skyre mod is detected. Possible doubles in crafting menu"And this for SkyRE: "Warning: The SkyRe has many conflicts with other mods. Please read the readme before playing with mod. This will prevent many problems. Read it here." So I've removed Complete Crafting Overhaul and Smithing Perks Overhaul, and no more duplicate recipes. But I still seem to have a problem with the damage on ranged weapons being significantly higher than melee weapons. Is this part of SkyRE? IS it meant to be like that? Deleted1308005User
You can reconfigure that with the skyproc Patcher? I think it has some sort of text file associated with it which edits weapon damages and such just the way you want.
DeathJester11
I don't mind them being higher if that is how they designed it, and I would rather not mess about with things like that because I suspect it would mess up the balance etc. I just wanted to make sure they weren't broken. I am currently level 6, I think I have 1 points in Light Weapons and Marksman, and Iron Longbows are 44 damage, and Iron Broadswords are 26. Is that normal? Deleted1308005User
I could believe it's normal. As perk boosts the damage by.. 10% or 25%?, and it's longbow, Amirite? So it deals more damage by default. So yeah, it's not broken
