Borborygmus
Trolls are by far my favorite monster in skyrim, but they are so few, even at higher levels. is anyone interested in making a mod that increases the ammount of trolls, or makes them more widespread or somthing? whatever would make the most sense from a technical point of view. im surprised no one else has made a mod like this before. there are very good troll mods out there, and even the hunter trolls is little hectic and breaks realism. thanks! Deleted1308005User
I was working on "animal diversity" mod, but the idea didn't get much good feedback so I cancelled it. (still got data files saved in case I start working on it.) One BIG part of that mod was troll variants.I think I could develop new mod, based only on different troll variants, species and so on.As trolls are one of my FAVORITE enemies as well! Anyhow, couple of ideas of mine: Swamp troll, distinctively greenish, glowy eyes. Could be found only at swamps. Not as effective in combat, but carries multiple diseases and inflicts those with strikes (+ poison damage)More resistant to damage due to all sorts of plaques eating toes at the swamp. Ancient trolls, I used uderfrykte's model as a base for theseOne for each variant. Black/brown, Frost and Swamp. Giant frost troll/ frost giant, quite obligatory. I think that the frost giant looks hugely like troll. Possibly some sort of new weapon for it so it's slightly different, regeneration that troll has and slightly smaller than giant is.And swamp + black variants of that Once Dragonborn is out.. Maybe use Riekling as base and make "river troll" ? Small, blueish thing that walks around rivers and such. I might actually start working on this. As it is quite interesting ideas, and there's some really good bases for mod like this.If I learn how to model stuff.. I could do so much different things related to this subject
