Hello everyone,

I am Seb263, author of the Magic Duel mod, I don't often spend time on forums.

I am currently working on a total reconstruction of Magic Duel. The project has been started again from scratch so that I could avoid or fix bugs encountered in the first version of the mod.

Apart from numerous corrections, I have added new functions to the mod: a mana system for the player and enemy, an "overdrive" (rage) gauge which allows the caster to temporarily double the strength of his spell for the duration of the gauge, a system of finishing moves at the end of the duel if certain conditions are met, the possiblity to start a duel in the first person and switch between third and first at will during the duel...

To be able to release this project correctly, I need motivated partners to conduct some minute tests or/and to find ideas to improve formulas that I have in place.

I am thus looking for someone capable of creating new effects for the spells during the duel.

If you look at this image, you'll notice a not very detailed ice beam on the left. This is a vanilla spell that has been lightly modified.

The workload would consist of creating a new effect of a "beam" type for a more aesthetic result. 6 effects need to be created: a fire beam (a light and 'massive' version), an ice beam (light and 'massive'), and a drain beam (light and 'massive'). The vanilla lightning spell comes out looking rather well during duels and thus needs no modifications.

On that note, if anyone wishes to participate in future beta tests, I invite you to contact me.

Here is a teaser showing what the mod looks like in its current stage:

Have you tried PM'ing Enaisiaion? Author of the Apocalypse Spell package?

My link

He(/she?) Is real wizard with spell effects.

I could help with tests and so. (if you need testers)

But I'm absolutely no-use when it comes to coding and such

Anyhow, keep up the good work!

Noted. Thank's for the advice. :)

I will contact Enaisiaion if my request on this topic fail.
