ketatrypt
I am wondering if it can effect the game play very badly (as in glitch out quests) if I run into people, before getting to them in the quest. For instance:(possible spoiler alert) I started a new game yesterday, and I have not really completed any of the story missions, or really even any combat missions as of yet.. I am just exploring around, and doing little bunny slope quests like bring package from point a to point b, or go tell someone something.. Basically just trying to stick to easy things, so that by the time I am exploring major dungeons or bunkers or whatever, I can unlock, hack, or fix my way through practically anything. But in exploring I have run across people like Deputy Beagle before inquiring about the delivery, and running into Jessup before even doing the Novac "come fly with me" quest.. (which makes the point of that quest useless, although you can still do the quest) I am wondering if things like this can glitch out the game very badly? I know its a sandbox game but I do want to finish the game for once !
TrickyVein
Know that it will not be possible to complete every quest-line in a single playthrough - there is contingency planning for most of the player's actions. The game is very buggy, however and there are quests which cannot be completed if not approached in a particular way because of poor coding. None of these will make your game unplayable though. There are so many quests in NV it hardly matters if one or two or more side quests are bugged out. I think this is the case with most player's games anyway. I can't think of any off the top of my head (maybe some other members can think of some game-breaking bugs in quests), but as you come across quests check out the Fallout Wiki for information related to bugs in quests. It's the best resource I can think of when it comes to solving problems. If you want to make sure to have as many quests open to you as possible, do some research before gaining favor with any one particular faction or advancing the main quest-line.
