Thanks, and by the way, I am 60 but I am NOT OLD!.

DOS, you mean..... C:\ CD\Ultima6 U6,.....now how hard was that :-)

I must admit that having a different config.sys for each game was a pain.

lol yeah i cud prolly use it if i tried - and if XP didnt hate it

im more of a phobe than anything :P

Classic? I bought U-6 and Wing Commander 1 when they were NEW and came on a bunce of floppys. In fact U-6 initally came on 5" floppys but you could get it on 3 " floppys if you wanted to order them. My computer at that time was a 20 Mhz 286 with 4 meg of Ram ( a lot for those days). U-6 and Wingcommander made me get my firsy mouse ( up till then real men dident need no stinkin mouse), and my first sound card, an original Soundblaster. In order to get the game to run well I had to write cutome config.sys and autoexec.bat files along with a little batch file that changed out my configuration depending on which game I was loading. I still have my final save game files for those two games, the one just berore I "saved the human universe from the Kilrathi or Saved Britannia". Just wait ten years and we will be talking about the "Classic game Morrowind".

WOW, that is old! (No offense) I remember playing Wing Commander, but I don't really remember it all that much. But anyway, it's always good to see the appeal of a game like Morrowind, which will become a classic someday, to all generations.
