heathendevil
sdfsdf OK, so apparently you can 'exchange items' with charon or any other humanoid follower, but I cannot, for the life of me, make charon open up his trade menu (or whatever). When I ask him to trade he responds with 'Very well' and nothing happens. I don't have any other follower other than charon, so I don't know if their trade menus are going to be screwed up too. Also, I don't know how relevant this is, but there was a glitch when I got charon's contract, in which he refused to kill his previous owner and became null; I had to resort to kill both of them (in console) and spawn my own charon. Any help would be appreciated.
Werewolf334
The reason why he does not open his trade with you is because it got cut off when you killed him. Trade, merchant items, or NPC inventories are most relevant to container (as the geck shows, I believe). So charon is now corrupt, I am unsure of how to fix this though. Hopefully someone else has the solution.

It would really mean a lot if someone could fix this. :/
mikekearn
Did you try the "Kill, resurrect, disable, enable" method? Disabling and enabling them again can cause NPCs to reset their AI packages. It takes a little time in some cases, but generally they will work again after that for most situations.
