UgTheViking
Hey there - What could be causing this? If you look close the sky is pixelated but not like the godrays issue. It happens in the day time as well. I have tried a few tweaks such as turning v-sync on/off , messing with the occulsion, swicthing screen resolution, ENB on/off etc. I didn't want to mess around under the hood too much since I have no idea what it could be causing this. I couldn't really find anything similar to this issue after searching all afternoon. My video card is AMD RX 570 series.Any clue would be appreciated. Well...crud...nevermind...it says uploading files is not allowed....?Anyway, the whole sky is little, little sqaures, much more noticable towards lighter areas. This is a bad description, been a long day and I need a drink. EDIT: It's like looking at the sky through a screen door. Only way I can describe it. Edited July 4, 2020 by UgTheViking
Wererommel
Are you using any mods that retexture the sky (like Summer Skies, True Storms and Vivid Weather)?
UgTheViking
Yes, I am using True Storms and a mod called FO4 Moon which retextures the stars. I am still getting the issue with them on or off. (Not running any ENB)But thank you for replying. Edited July 4, 2020 by UgTheViking
Wererommel
I would tend to suspect FO4 Moon, which hasn't been updated since February 2016. Uninstalling the mod doesn't necessarily change the textures. One possible solution would be to uninstall it and replace it with a different sky mod (there are several) which would overwrite the old textures. xrayy
what mod organizer are you using ?
UgTheViking
I am using Vortex to manage mods. And trying another star retexture didn't make a difference either but thank you for the suggestion.
Wererommel
Sounds like it isn't the mod. The next likely suspect would be the graphics settings. Boot Fallout from Steam and select Options from the Start Menu. Check graphic settings there.
UgTheViking
Ok, well, after messing around with monitor settings, contrast, brightness, etc. I have it so it is acceptable. I know this isn't the main root of the problem (Never had the issue in Skyrim) but this temporary fix works for now. Thank you all for the help.
