password reset emails

Hello is there a problem with the forgot password emails i'm asking because my husband cannot log in and has tried to reset his password but gets no emails. I joined to check if the function works (cus hes driving me mad about it) :armscrossed: I then tried to log in and pressed the forgot password link i was redirected to the page entered my email address and was told it would be here in 10 minutes or instantly nothing as come the same has my husbands. My husband as tried everything and now can see his point that emails dont reach us from that function emails work from everywhere else though and my registration email came instantly.any ideas ? thanks in advance for any help

Hello again right checked the forgot password thing again still no email comming through,so went to tess alliance site clicked there forgot password and got an instant email from them to reset.Could someone else try this sites forgot password link and see if it sends them an mail,pref if they have a virginmedia account as both my husband and i use them.Really puzzeling us both thanks julie

I tried and it doesn't qork for me either, I opened this account because I can't log into the other one

 

And now it's possible you may find both accounts being banned -- multiple accounts and account sharing are not allowed. There is a procedure to follow, and opening new accounts, when you already have an active account, is not part of that procedure. Please be aware of this when you submit details to reset your password:

 

 This email will also contain a link that you must click for further instruction.

 

You must also check that your mail provider and/or your email client do not block <@thenexusforums.com> as spam, or the email will not make it through.

Well this is not me sharing or using 2 accounts this is my own my husband asked me to join using my computer to see if i had the same problem has he do's he is fully aware of forum rules and so asked me to make an account of my own we use seperate computers but use the same router and isp.julie Edited by Julesdidi

Hello again all sorted now he can finaly login it was a problem between our email program and virgins/google mail it was causing any emails from this site to be put into the spam box but being new to livemail and virgin's new mail system we couldn't find it anyway thanks julie ps we are feeling abit dumb now :(
