I've made ini tweaks and have installed an enb, but I'm not sure what's exactly causing the problem. Would appreciate any help.
Brandy1123
In an earlier post elsewhere by SlayingMellow ( http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/473301-fix-for-flickering-shadows-also-how-to-change-the-way-shadow-timescaling-and-sun-position-intervals-works ) a few parameters are changed in the Skyrim.ini file to help with a problem similar to what you are experiencing. It was suggested by the OP that fSunShadowUpdateTime=25 fSunUpdateThreshold=1.5 Martian1 posted (and worked better on my game at the time)fSunShadowUpdateTime=20 fSunUpdateThreshold=1 Theres also a link for the shadow striping interior if you are still experienceing that shadow problem As a side note, try and update your graphics driver first to see if you can cure it with better software technology. Write down your version number in case it causes other unwanted problems so you can defer back later it needed.
dragonchris152
Thanks for the help, but still hasn't seemed to help my problem. Not sure if it's the same problem either. I might be reading it wrong, but is that post talking about shadows updating due to the sun moving? If so that is different to what I'm experiencing. My shadows are fine unless I myself move or change my view. That shadows flash repeatedly when I move or look around. Here's a few more examples http://imageshack.us/a/img24/3401/2013011700001.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img827/7246/2013011700002.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img694/1292/2013011700003.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img837/6770/2013011700004.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img255/1580/2013011700005.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img43/6776/2013011700006.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img854/9788/2013011700008.jpg Edit- Using the tweak with FXAA on seems to have decreased it's intensity, but it still seems to occur near light sources such as torches.
