DaemonGrin
I noticed my models showed flickering texture and texture absorption from surrounding mesh's when I linked to my dds files in the steam folders for FNV however when I linked to user\mydocs blah blah file location they showed up fine no issues. Any idea why this is?
Gribbleshnibit8
The texture path on a model should be relative to the texture folder. That is, they should look similar to this.textures\clutter\reloadingbench\workbench02.ddsThe textures should of course be in theData\texturesfolder in order for the game to use them, along with archive invalidation being active. Yeah that's exactly what I do and I end up with the flickering and absorption effects. But when say linked to mydocuments\All PC Game Mods\fallout new vegas source\TheEnclave\textures\ I get the correct textures no rendering issues. This is all in the geck btw. Does Geck require the textures to be archive invalidated as well to appear correctly? Tested that and still got glitchy textures. Is it because I have steam files in the program files (x86) location? I seem to recall something about that. Thanks for the reply. Edited January 17, 2013 by DaemonGrin
