cbeau
I was recently thinking about having a try at compiling all my armor and weapon mods from the Nexus into a few easy to maintain packs for personal use. I plan to use BSA Browser https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1756 to extract the required files from the original mods, and then Cathedral Asset Optimizer https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/23316 to repack them, but I'm having trouble finding the right information in tutorial form. Is there a good place anyone can point me to for guidance? Some relevant guide or discord server that's welcoming to newcomers? I'm piecing together the general method for doing this, but still have a few questions (such as where to go from there when it comes to bodyslides for my armors.) Any links/info greatly appreciated! cumbrianlad
When you say 'My armour and weapon mods', are you referring to your own original work, or just mods that you own? I only ask this because I'm worried about asset theft, not to imply anything badly. If they are your own assets, then you can simply upload them as a mod in the modders' Resources section. I'm thinking about doing just that with some of mine. I've downloaded some as loose file meshes and textures. Maybe I'm missing your difficulty here. cbeau
I honestly have no idea where your mind went when you read that. I have no idea where theft comes into the equation. I have no idea how you took the words "personal use" and translated them to "publish other people's work on the Nexus." Thank you very much for your help.
