ripple
Ah ok. Your version of MO is outdated. It's up to 12.5 now. I think some people reported problem running BOSS with 12.3 (there was a 12.4 hotfix, I thought you might be using that). Update now and give it another try. ripple
Before we go any further, you have to take care of these: Use one only, like it says. Or none of the optional plugins and just use default plugin for this mod, since you will be using Wrye Bash. No point in keeping them in your load order even if disabled, just remove them. It's sort of weird that Crossbow Basic isn't recognized by BOSS....but you should able to load it anywhere after Dawnguard, since it doesn't edit leveled lists directly to distribute the crossbows, but uses a script to add them to leveled lists. To be safe, you might want to double check in TES5Edit, and post screenshots of conflicts if you spot any. After you remove the cloak optionals and install the compatibility patches noted above, run BOSS again, and post the new log. ripple
Good, good. We're almost done. It's time for Wrye Bash. Download WB if you haven't yet, and install it. Then set it up as an executable in MO. When you install WB, it should copy a Bashed Patch esp to your data folder. If it doesn't, then there should be one somewhere in WB's sub-directories. Copy it over to your Skyrim game data folder. Don't worry, when you rebuild the Bashed Patch for the first time while running WB through MO, MO *should* move the Bashed Patch into an 'overwrite' folder, thus ensuring your game data folder is still as clean as the day you first (re)installed Skyrim. When you've set up the Wrye Bash executable in MO, first make sure the Bashed Patch is at the very bottom of your load order (you can also just run BOSS again). Select all esp's, and launch the WB executable. Once in WB, highlight and right click on the Bashed Patch, and select 'Rebuild Patch...' Some windows will popup. In the first popup, WB will ask you if you want to merge esp's that it has identified as mergeable into the Bashed Patch. Click yes. If you don't get this popup, don't worry about it. In the second popup, put a checkmark beside 'merge patches' and 'leveled lists', and uncheck 'alias names' and 'tweaked settings' (which isn't working properly in WB for Skyrim anyway). Make sure to checkmark the boxes of the mods whose records you want to be merged into the Bash Patch (basically all the ones WB says it will merge for you). When the Bashed Patch is created, you are done (don't forget to make sure it's checked in the MO load order), and let the gaming begin :) - if you have troubles with the 303 standalone version of WB, try the python version.- try not to mess with load orders too much. It's always tempting to add new mods and grow the load order (and every time you install or remove a mod, you need to repeat the BOSS/WB process), but the problem is that while things might look 'stable' for a few hours or even days, once the game becomes unstable and you want to yank mods out form the load order that you think might be causing it, things just go downhill from there. So that's my recommendation--be very careful about what you add, so you won't have to worry about junk getting baked into your savegames from mods you no longer want to use.
