so i tried putting my hard drive windows 10 laptop saves saving stuff in my hard drive to another windows 10 laptop...

so it worked, i playing like 2 morrowinds and jade empire a nd like 2 kotors...

i'm thinking of getting a desktop windows 7...now will my hard drive "windows 10" video game stuff...would it transfer correctly to the windows 7 desktop computer?...just as efficiently as doing what i've tested meaning already converting windows 10 saved video game stuff to another one of my windows 10 laptop?...will it work the same?...

please please please help....

should i get another windows 10 laptop as well as what i am already getting which is a desktop 7 computer for other games...but i want the games i saved in my hard drive to work on my new eventually upcoming windows desktop 7 to work...

note: the reason why i transferred from my windows 10 laptop to another more recent windows laptop 10 of mine is well because...the other laptop windows 10 burnt out...lol...

or should i get another windows 10 laptop for like let's say my next birthday just to be safe as well as my already upcoming desktop windows 10 computer just to be safe?...

i guess it's almost like a...good thumb of rule to have 2 laptops?...okay, now i don't know what i'm saying...just kidding...

the reason i'm getting a windows 7 desktop computer is because i only play old games before like 2009 video games...

please please please help...

Compatibility mode in win 10 actually works pretty good. I have convinced some truly old software to run on win 10 using it......

If you have the same mods installed on the games across machines, transferring saves should work just fine, regardless of O/S.
