TheCommanderOfThe101st
Hello, im having issue's where i can only add a limit amount of mods, no matter the type of mods. So i had my graphics card replaced with a Geforce GTx 650 graphics card. Before i did this, i had my game setting's set to low and had about 70 to 100 mods both from steam and Nexus and it ran like normal but i only had a texture issue where gray lines would appear. So im asking for some professional help to do things step by step. I had installed NNM on my computer and had skyrim running on it, i had got 13 mods to run. These mods was just Tundra defense (i used SKSE to run this) multi marriage mod, jump high, the mannequin Script fix, all 3 of the unofficial skyrim patches (heart fire and DawnGuard), lake view manor road, get drunk, enhanced blood dawnguard patch, endless voice, DSpSoB (where u can carry shields and swords on your back) and random alternate start. The game was set to medium. With Alternate mod or any other mod that allows you to skip Helgen would crash during the load after you click load game or start new game, with out that mod the game would start normally and show the introduction where you are on the carriage with the storm cloaks and after it shows Bethesda productions then Skyrim it crashes to desktop. Can anyone please help me, i told best buy to back up my computer (every thing) but they only saved things like steam or Avg, they didn't save my mods or music or pictures. So everything that made it work before is gone. Ok, so i reinstalled my game and removed Boss and Wrye Bash cause Boss did some crap to my game and some how messed up something in another file that had no way of getting there. and i added 29 (deactivated random alternate start cause the crash won't let you play and gets stuck on loading screen) mods and the game works just fine but im getting texture issue's. im getting Bodies with grey head's and black bodies. If any one can help me out i will be thankful and even give you a kudos. sincerelyTheCommanderofthe101st Edited January 20, 2013 by TheCommanderOfThe101st
Jason2112
Mod order is everything ... and if mods can work with eachother. You will have to just test till you hit the right combo. No way around it.BOSS messed up my stuff long ago would never use it again.Clump things in groups and test different group orders on the load.If you think about what has to load it's not to hard. exp: Custom armor would be before a NPC mod using that armor. Myself I create a mock Skyrim folder and rename my real one for abit.run BOSS and a few others I found to get their "option" on my mod order. But nothing sets my real game's mod order but me.
