antstubell
I call it 'Script Blindness'. You stare at a script and swear that it is perfect but doesn't work. Next day you glance at it and say "What a fool I am."Even worse, I completely change a script, go back in game and it does exactly the wrong thing it did before, me shouting "WTF! I just changed... oh didn't save." Edited July 20, 2020 by antstubell
cumbrianlad
Yeah. It's really annoying that the game saves scripts and script properties. I just added a ghost actor, with heaps of packages and a quest to shift him from one place to another, combined with disabling some or all player controls. I went in to test and when I got to him, after 1/2 an hour of testing, he looked like a normal solid Dwemer, not a ghost. I went back into CK and found that I hadn't auto-filled the properties on the 'DefaultGhostScript' in his actor form... ... That meant reloading a clean save and starting afresh, because the un-filled properties were now baked into the save... Still doing it now, tbh! The joys of modding. The only plus is that the more of these mistakes I make, the quicker (generally) I am in spotting them or not making them in the first place!
