I want some of the work cut out for me so lets make this a team effort. What mods have you tryed? Here's a list of some recommendations that work and have no conflicts with each other...

 

Amplified Crippled Effects 020.esp - Death Claw is still a challenge, its just nice to be rewarded for shooting the right body parts

Cross Repair Weapons - Scrap Metal is now very useful and it makes game more realistic

 

No companion Karma checks v1a.esp -

AND

FollowersHire -

AND

RoBco certified - repair destroyed robots, simple follow and wait functions. fast travel approved,

*use all 3, get your squad and move out on "Very Hard" game settings. also I'm about to add the MMMFo increased respawns, my squad consists of jerico, star palidin, clover, and two projectrons, not much but we put up a fight!

 

HouseExpansion - got alot of caps?

 

Big Town Relocation - want to live in big town?

 

all these mods work together and arent cheating in my opinion. I just downloaded 7-10 mods today and havent tryed them yet. And someone get that FEV subject in the game, he's big and i found him in the geck, but game crashes when i add him to megaton, probably cas he has no animations?

Crap, I dunno the names. Better Power Armor (was tired of seeing BoS getting owned by radscorpions), bunch of balancing mods by XFO (makes the game much harder/more realistic), slower degradation, cross repair armor, 40% faster moving, big gun accuracy perks, accurate sniper rifles, basic needs, enemy weapons (gives enemies a wider range of weapons to use), extra storage in megatown house, better companions and caravans, imported rifle (sniper rifle), mart's mutant mod - increased spawn (increases the number of bad guys that spawn to around 5 per group), item description mods

 

Sorry I don't know the authors/proper names of the majority of these mods but everything above I consider essential for Fallout. Adds a crapload of difficulty/realism/makes the game quicker paced.

without discrediting all other mods out there; I could not/will not play without Xodarap777 Fallout 3 Balance Overhaul

 

other than that I won't comment on the rest, since there are so many "great", "good", etc.

 

not saying that Fallout 3 Balance Overhaul is the "best", just saying if I only had 1 mod installed, it would that one.

When Are we getting a top 100 link for fallout nexus? hey zable I didnt find your mod!

 

I tried the MMMfo (Martigens Mutant Mod) on the 2-5 respawn ratio and well, my squad of 2 sentries, 1 brain bot, jerico/clover/mika the sniper(companion mod)/star palidin all dressed in enclave , some are telsa, are all fast traveled to wheaten amory on normal difficulty, BIg MISTAKE,

 

6 seconds of explosions, then

!clover died!

""

""

""

Your robot has been destroyed

""

""

etc.

I walk crippled after 10 seconds since spawn, for about 4 seconds toward cover , hello missile

I never thought raiders could be a threat, well second thought maybe 20-30 of which 5 or so with bazzoka, some w/ grenades

only problem with this mod is unless you use the 1-3 ratio, the 2-5 ratio gives you alot of ammo, to the piont of infinite,

vashs guns, brupos guns, all of my mods, followers hire thing and crossrepairs...

im also looking foward to growlf and malos clothing mods to make my personalize clover look even better :P

 

what came to my mind when i read your suggestions is that except for vashs DD there are actually no mods mentioned by you guys which add new content at all... i dont wanna say these are bad mods and i have utmost respect of scripters yet i feel that somehow you missed all the really workload intensive mods like lets say brupos beretta... what does it tell us? modders shouldnt spend their time on creating amazing new stuff since it isnt appreciated anyway? or did you just miss it?
