EnaiSiaion
You can join the Imperials, you can join the Stormcloaks, but we all know both options suck. What you really want to do is join the Thalmor! Thalmor Rule is a quest mod set around the Thalmor Embassy and a couple of new maps, like the ruins of Aldwe Castle. You still do your thing, but now in service of the Thalmor as a spy, the end goal being pointy ears in every corner of Skyrim and beyond, despite the power struggle within the Thalmor. The player's contact persons will be voiced, but many others are also involved in the story. There are also giant explosions. Main NPCs Llethe - Head negotiator of the Embassy and leader of the Lightforged Guard. He is responsible for protecting the Embassy against subversive elements, which to him includes random human civilians and moderate altmer. He considers the White-Gold Concordat a "betrayal of altmer destiny" by "backstabbing human sympathizers" within the Dominion. His hatred of anything with round ears leads to gratuitous attacks on villages; ever since he became head negotiator he stopped bothering to plant evidence. His ultimate career goal is Dominion senator. Thellon - Embassy administrator. Signed up for Skyrim to seek adventure, but ended up in a desk job. To compensate for the lack of excitement, he pawns Thalmor weapons and spells on the black market and forges paper trails to cover the loss. He can fast track you into the Thalmor, for a price. While he does consider altmer the superior race, he also believes the conflict is a colossal waste of time spent conquering scrappy, infertile, cold and rainy territories full of useless humans, and in his opinion Llethe is just a hotshot politician making a big show regardless of how it affects the Thalmor operation. Lesser NPCs Tarac Whitesnow - Informer. A Stormcloak with an obsession for altmer culture who attempts to "act mer" and is seen as a poser by actual altmer, but his willingness to sell out Stormcloak secrets makes him a valuable asset to the Thalmor operation. Elenar - Healer. Came to Skyrim in order to gain access to research subjects. Wrote a critically acclaimed book that claims to provide scientific proof that humans have lower mental capabilities than mer and are only capable of menial work. Seldha - Apprentice embassy administrator. Worked for Thellon until he got rid of her after she accidentally wrote "meh" instead of "mer" on a diplomatic document. You can take her place if you pay Thellon enough, though Llethe still prefers Seldha. Morran - Soldier. An idealist who believes altmer could benefit from a constructive relationship with humans, therefore Llethe suspects him of participating in illegal Talos rituals where humans club altmer babies to death and drink their blood. Llethe is waiting for Morran to slip up, while Morran thinks Llethe is full of it. Avinnas - Embassy wizard. Came to Skyrim for the opportunity to reverse engineer dwemer technology in hopes of creating secret weapons. His current project is a bomb powered by "alchemical transmutation" but development is stalled due to a lack of the rare metals required. StatusDue to the need for voice actors, Thalmor Rule has been moved behind Ravenhall in the pecking order. On the bright side, much of the content is already planned and Ravenhall is on track for a release in about 2-3 weeks after which I can dedicate all of my time to Thalmor Rule. Voice actorselijahlucian??? always need more!
WotansGlory
This sounds great! I've been looking forward to a Thalmor mod that doesn't involve killing them, my Justicar has been so bored.
TheUninvitedGuest
I think this sounds like a lot of fun. If you would like some voice acting done I would be happy to help out! I have a decent mic setup and am familiar vaguely familiar with simple audio manipulation and cleaning. If you would like to hear some samples I posted a thread here - though you're perfectly free to hate my voice - lord knows I do :psyduck: hehe. Either way, I'm a big fan of your mod work as It always feels like everything is meticulously thought out - sure this'll be more of the same.
