starfire42
I've noticed that a lot of mods show up in Nexus Mod Manager with their name in the format "name - name"(e.g. "Daedric artifacts - Daedric Artifacts". At first I thought it was just some quirk with NMM combining the file name and it's declared name (in info.xml), but every one I've checked actually has it's name defined in info.xml as "[name] - [name]" (where [name] is the mods normal name) Is there some standard convention behind this, a common misconfiguration (setting the name in 2 different places in the creation kit), or something like that behind this? Korodic
I did this too. It's because i have no real understanding of how the version names and etc affect the file and the file name. I wish we could standardize it with drop-down menus rather than allow users to make their own crazy things. I too would like this cleared up, i was going to ask upon my next release. luthienanarion
The first name is the title of the mod page on the Nexus. It's there so that different files from the same mod are grouped together.
