rompe320
Where can I find a mod that disguises the fact my character is a hardcore vampire? the highest level vampire, when interacting with npcs, often causes them to shout and cry and poo themselves over the fact im a uber vampire. Is there a mod that makes it so that doesnt happen or hood that is shadowy that keeps me under disguise as long as i have the hood on? Thanks yall!!! Xandhoniox
I'm not aware of a released mod that is specific to just that, but I'm sure it wouldn't take all that much work to make one. The vampire fear isn't hard coded. It's just in the dialogue. I used those dialogue markers for one of the vamp mods I'm working on, so I know just how it works. If you have the CS and know how to use it, there are several ways to do it. First, you could create a unique clothing item that serves this purpose alone (along with being a clothing item, of course), and then edit the dialogue conditions (which are part of the Vampire Quest, by the way) so that there is also one that runs on the target that says "GetItemEquipped (I think that's the function, but I'd have to look to be sure) 'ClothingItemID' == 0" so that it will only run the dialogue if the clothing item isn't equipped, and won't run it if it is. Another way would be to create a global such as "VampHood," and edit the VampireScript so that whenever you equip ANY hood, it would change the global to 1 and change it back to 0 when it is unequipped. Then go into the dialogue and make it to where the dialogue only runs when the VampHood global is 0. It's pretty simple if you know how to do it. If not, I'd be more than happy to do it for you. Tell me one way or the other, and I'll respond accordingly.
SavageArtistry
Tell me one way or the other, and I'll respond accordingly. I doubt the OP is still monitoring this thread since it was started at the end of '08.
