Skse is not detecting

Ok so for a wile now I have been playing Skyrim (I'm running an unsteam supported version of skyrim) got Skse working with SkyUI (or so I thought) so then I tryed to update SkyUI and as most people know it has the new MCM feature wich yells and me (or CTDS) for not having Skse. So I'm like why will this not work its all installed properly also I tried the Wet and Cold mod and it again said it could not find the latest Skse which is installed. Is this because my Skyrim is not steam supported or is it because I have stupidly installed it completely wrong but It feels like I have tried a lot of different things none of which worked. Also I am currently on the latest version of skyrim I have kept up with all the updates I also have dawngaurd and hearthfire ( soon to have dragon born :D )

So any help with getting my Skse to be recognized would be fantastic cause everything needs the new SkyUI I.E : the dance of death (one of my favorites) and SkyUI itself

First off, what exactly is an "unsteam supported version of Skyrim"?

I admit I could be wrong here as it has been a while since I looked at Skyrim being sold, but last I heard, there was no supported version that did not require steam (on the pc at least). Even the games for windows version I bought (basically the cd version from a store) requires steam. It would be interesting to see if I could get a copy that did not require it and was officially supported.

As for your problem, have you made sure you updated SKSE to the latest version? The newest version has a number very similar to the last one, so not many people realized there was an issue. Just go download the latest version and install it again just to make sure.

Are you making sure you launch Skyrim from the SKSE Launcher? Again, downloading the latest version will insure you are launching the proper version.

I will wait till you respond to my first question about the version of Skyrim you have before I say anything more on that. All I will say is that to the best of my knowledge, SKSE does not require steam, but if your Skyrim is different, there is that chance.

When I say unsupported version of skyrim I mean I pirated it I don't have the proper steam keys for it. ( before any ask I do own the game its just on Ps3 completely wrong platform) and I do have the 1.8 skyrim and the 1.8.151.0. SKSE or 1.6.6 if this is out of date I would feel like such a fool but it says that this is the latest one available. and I am launching it from the launcher I made sure of that I went threw everything followed how to almost exactly and still same half of it work then the rest said it was un-recognized. so I really have no Idea what I did wrong so. Yeah.

Banned for piracy.

If you want to play the game on a different platform, you need a license for the platform (that is, you need to buy the PC version).
