Deleted94749178User
I'm using Windows 10 with all the most recent updates and a fresh install of New Vegas (GOG version) with GECK extender. Whenever I open it it looks like this. The particular areas of annoyance are highlighted. Text is just too big in every field and it makes it a total pain to use.I've tried messing with compatibility and resolution settings but there's just nothing that has made the program look the way it used to. I would really appreciate any suggestions! Update: After entirely too much frustration, I ended up brute-forcing a solution. My suspicion was always that a missing font was the culprit, so I just copied all the fonts from a different computer where the GECK was displaying normally, moved them to my main computer, and installed them all. Sure enough, it worked, though this sadly means I have no idea which font was the winner. Anyway, I'm leaving this up in case anybody runs into the same problem. M48A5
Another solution would be to enlarge the fields. You have a lot of unused space to the right of "QU" and "Status"
Deleted94749178User
That doesn't persist between sessions, though. Having to do that every time I open the GECK wouldn't have been an ideal solution by any means, lol.
AnthonyDriskill
Familiar situation. I myself pull 2000 fonts on all devices. It is a pity that they did not come up with any one system font containing many styles. How Unicode works
emmett72
However, that doesn't persevere between meetings. Doing that each time I click the GECK wouldn't have been an optimal arrangement using any and all means, haha.
